I painted!

So I was finally brave to choose a fabulous wall color. I choose something called peapod green. It looks better on the wall then what you are seeing in your mind's eye right now.

I have also been working at Benson's orchard lately sorting cherries. In honor of my time served there I have a composed a little ditty to the tune of the Kaisson go march along....

Sleepy Head
Out of bed

Pick 'em out

Just don't drop them on the floor

I thought it was pretty funny, but I am not sure that a person can properly appreciate this song unless they have actually worked in a sorting shed. Well I am hot and I am heading for home.

July update

The only time I get to update my blog nowadays is when I am visiting my family. I do not have internet as of yet. Well my life has fallen into a small routine....Wake up, close the upstairs windows, go downstairs, turn off the porch light, retrieve the newspaper, sit at the table and read the entire thing.....yes the entire thing....(when you have nothing else to do the newspaper becomes a plethora of entertainment).....get dressed, go check on my plants....everyday. The rest of the day is an open agenda....I really need a project, because my plants do not grow very fast. I set my mind to finally put up the shelves I got from my real estate agent. It took most of the afternoon to figure out how the stupid things stayed on the walls. I was a wee bit challenged on this one. Now I am getting a hankering to paint a wall, but I can't decide on a color. Any suggestions?

Hello World

I haven't written in months because I was not writing. I have just recently purchased a home in Caldwell and I am excited to be in a new home. I am still searching for roommates. I spent several days pulling weeds and sod out of the back yard to create a garden space. I am sore and tired, but I finally have everything planted. Yay for fresh veggies!

I am way excited that my brother and his family are coming for a visit. It seems so long since I saw my nephews and I am way phsyced to see my new little niece Clara. I am really happy to see my sister - in-law Erin. She is so totally awesome. Lynn is going to be a blast too.

I had a great birthday two weeks ago. Everyone at school was so nice and I really loved the birthday cake from MOM.

Saturday blues

This is me. I had to come home early from work on Thursday. I was in bed with a nasty cold all day on Friday. Now I am feeling better, but I am still conjested.

I am jealous

I was looking at a blog from one of my friends from Nampa. She is learning to be quite the accomplished photograher. As I was scanning through her snap-shots and I started to get a little jealous. She was really good. So in response I decided to edit some of the pictures I took for Stephanie and post them on the blog.

I am sooooooooo tired

I am absolutely exhausted. I should totally be going to bed right now, but I thought I'd blog. School is crazy it seems like no one can make a decision or make the best of the way things are going. All day I am putting out fires with the students and trying to teach them at the same time. I hope none of them of getting singed. Then there are teachers who are complaining "WE DON'T HAVE TIME" Your right we don't have time......TOO COMPLAIN. Good grief.

Some people can't see the solution for the problem. Oh well......it just makes me tired. I just finished typing up the minutes for a Profession Development Commitee that I get to be on this year. No one else wanted to be the Secretary. So instead of sitting in uncomfortable silence I volunteered to take notes and type them up later. It is rather strange cuz I am the newbie on the commitee and have no idea of what I am doing. It was funny cuz all I could think about during the meeting was how I wished I was Laura Whiting. Then I could have my laptop up and type everything that was said with lightning speed. She is so talented. Oh well, I guess they will have to put up with my tortoise way of typing.

Well the clock keeps upbraiding me that I should be in my cozy bed sawing logs. Even though you can hardly find my bed with all the junk that is in my room. I'm usually more tidy then this. It goes to prove that I am very tired and have so much to do even when I get home from school.

*Side note on the house hunting. House Hunting Sucks! As soon as you find a house that you love, your realtor calls the other agents and you get to hear (imagine a snooty voice) "Oh we're sorry. We accepted an offer on that house a week ago." Which means they haven't gotten off their lazy butts to change the status on the MLS so poor house hunters won't look at the house, fall in love with it and get their hopes up. oooooooooo it makes me mad.

Sorry for the ranting. Like I said I am tired.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz oh sorry that was me falling asleep and drooling on my keypad. Good Night

So I was shopping.....

I am way excited.

I took Caleb shopping for this birthday present yesterday. He was so excited to get an MP3 player. While we were out looking at electronics I was checking of the laptops.

My Acer laptop is dying on me and the screen is streaking white. When it does this then I can't use any of the features or even move the mouse. I think that there is something wrong with the connection between the screen and the base.... so needless to say that I was in need of something.

I found it. For $450 dollars at Staples. Labor Day weekend sales are great! I bought a Toshiba Satellite. it is way cool. Here is a picture.
